  • Fall River Cleanup - 9/26 - CRPA will conduct its second cleanup of the year at the Walton Tract off route 42 south of Millboro Springs on Saturday, September 26th from 9 a.m. until noon. The Walton Tract, a US Forest Service Public Access area on the Cowpasture River, sees a great deal of recreational traffic during the summer and this cleanup is an important component of our Adopt-A-Stream program. All are welcome and volunteers are sorely needed. If you can attend, or seek more information, please contact Polly Newlon at 540.474.2858 or via email at directorcrpa@gmail.com. Bags, gloves and snacks will be provided. Come help us keep the Cowpasture one of Virginia's cleanest rivers! (Raindate is Sunday, September 27th).
